JD is a junior in the class of '22. This is her first year writing for The Shield and her first time being editor in chief of a school newspaper. She previously wrote for her middle school newspaper and was a member of the broadcasting club there as well. She is a history enthusiast who enjoys researching historical events, people, and dress. A well-rounded student, she is also involved with the art program and the Law and Social Action program.
