Caroline Cummings

  • What sport? Lacrosse
  • What position? Midfield
  • What number? 11 for Mercy, 23 for Drexel
  • Any significance to your number? 11, because it’s number 1 twice! 23 was one of the only ones left in my size but it happens to be Michael Jordan’s number.
  • College, location, and mascot? Drexel University; Philadelphia; Dragon
  • What do you love about the college (aside from the sport)? I love that Drexel is located in such a big city because it opens the door for many job opportunities. Drexel also has a really unique co-op program, which incorporates a workplace experience into undergrad study.
  • What do you plan to major in? International Area Studies.
  • What did it feel like signing? It made it all a reality because everything up to that point was just a verbal commitment and it felt awesome to finally make it official.

Taylor Sisk

  • What sport? Lacrosse
  • What position? Goalie
  • What number? 76 for club, 0 for here
  • Any significance to your number? I was told a number doesn’t get me recruited, so I was just assigned that number.
  • College, location, and mascot? UMBC; Baltimore County; Retrievers
  • What do you love about the college (aside from the sport)? I love that it’s small but not too small, there’s going to be plenty of people that I won’t know but there will be a lot of people that I do know
  • What do you plan to major in? Biological sciences with a track of neuroscience and cognitive science
  • What did it feel like signing? It was finally official. Everything I had been working for since the 4th grade finally paid off. All of the hard work I had put in actually meant something.

Julianna Boller

  • What sport? Soccer
  • What position? Forward
  • What number? 36
  • Any significance to your number? No significance.
  • College, location, and mascot? Salisbury University; Salisbury, Maryland; Sea Gull
  • What do you love about the college (aside from the sport)? Location- close to the beach, the people
  • What do you plan to major in? Undecided
  • What did it feel like signing? Signing made me realize that hard work really does pay off. It was a feeling of accomplishment.

Gabriella Kirk

  • What sport? Soccer
  • What position? Center midfield
  • What number? (Highschool # 40) (club #14)
  • Any significance to your number? I’ve always had the number 14 since I was little growing up playing soccer. When I made the team freshman year 14 wasn’t available so I wanted a number that started with 4.
  • College, location, and mascot? Bridgewater College; Bridgewater, Virginia; Eagle.
  • What do you love about the college (aside from the sport)? What I love about Bridgewater is the atmosphere and feel of the school. I love the small school setting it feels like my home away from home.
  • What do you plan to major in? I plan to major in history and political science.
  •  What did it feel like signing? Signing felt like all my hard work over these past 12 years of playing soccer and training have finally paid off. It was a weight lifted off my shoulders after trying to decide which school I wanted to play for. It was a celebration but also a day to remind me of what’s to come. It was so exciting.
