This Christmas season Art Club was lucky enough to have the opportunity to use their passion for art to help others. After being contacted by Mercy Medical Center, Ms. Tess Veloso, Director of Communications, asked the Art Club to repaint and touch up signs for the hospital’s Christmas garden.

Members of the Art Club said this was not an easy task. “The signs were almost as big as the table!” exclaimed Leah Ransome ’15. The touch-up work, mostly painting, took the group about four meetings to complete. Done as the club’s service project, the members loved it and Emily Gentry ’15 said, “It was great to combine service and art.”
